During the Special Assessment meeting, a homeowner questioned – accused Board members of being behind in their maintenance fees.

They questioned their ability to be on the Board and vote on issues (based on a financial package they received listing aged owner balances)

Cindy Manson, Treasurer responded during the meeting , that was an accounting error, as they were not late.

The reason not only Cindy and Leslie, but also multiple other owners had late fees were because they paid in advance and the prepaids were not applied as they should have been when charges are applied.

Example. Cindy paid on 12/31/25 for January 1, 2026.

When I apply January charges, prepaids are supposed to be automatically applied. They weren’t therefore putting late fees on the account. We rectified the issue already.
